Chelsea star Eden Hazard has insisted that he does not need to be rested.
The Belgian has been instrumental in Chelsea's Premier League title challenge, but having played so many games, his manager Jose Mourinho was reported as saying that he needed a rest.
However, Hazard has hit back, claiming that his good form is due to continued appearances.
"I don't need a rest," Hazard told Het Laatste Nieuws. "As I've said before, I'm at my best if I can play a lot of matches.
"I'm in a good rhythm. I'm getting a lot of game time. I did feel a little down in the first half against Fulham but it went much better in the second half.
"But I must be aware that I don't let myself burn out."
Hazard is part of the Belgium squad that take on Ivory Coast this evening.
