Jose Mourinho has revealed that Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich brought him back to the club because he wants stability.

The Portuguese manager recently returned to Stamford Bridge having left the Blues in 2007.

"The owner and the board want stability and then after that if we are working well and working together, success comes naturally," Mourinho told the club's official website.

"Everybody accepts the way we are going. I'm not trying to push in a different way. We are all in the same direction."

Mourinho rejoined Chelsea following a three-year spell with Real Madrid.
