Jose Mourinho: 'Arsenal's title drought is boring, not Chelsea's tactics'

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho defends his tactics in the bore draw at Arsenal, claiming that the Gunners' 11-year title drought is far more boring.

Jose Mourinho has defended Chelsea's approach in tonight's 0-0 draw with Arsenal, insisting that the Gunners' title drought remains more boring than his tactics.

The Blues produced a resolute defensive performance at the Emirates to frustrate the hosts and win a point that takes them five away from the Premier League crown.

The home fans jeered the Portuguese for his defensive tactics throughout a second half that Arsenal dominated, but with Arsene Wenger failing to deliver a league title since 2004, Mourinho questioned which was more tedious.

"You know, I think boring is 10 years without a title. That's very boring," he told reporters.

"You support the club and you're waiting, waiting, waiting for so many years without a Premier League title, so that's very boring."

The West Londoners travel to resurgent Leicester City during the week.
