Jose Mourinho hails John Terry's "best" display against Arsenal

Jose Mourinho claims that John Terry has produced his best ever performance for Chelsea in their 0-0 draw at Arsenal.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has hailed John Terry's defensive performance against Arsenal as the best he has ever produced under the Portuguese coach.

The Blues now only need six points to win the Premier League title after holding the Gunners to a goalless draw at the Emirates Stadium.

However, Mourinho was quick to praise his captain's display against their London rivals.

He is quoted by BBC Sport as saying: "The team is very confident and playing extremely well so we know it is in our hands.

"I told John Terry in the dressing room that he made fantastic performances with me but this was his best.

"It was the best JT has ever played. It was absolutely amazing."

Chelsea face relegation-threatened Leicester City on Wednesday.
