John Terry hails "big performances" from Chelsea

Chelsea captain John Terry praises the team's "big performances" in recent weeks following their 2-1 win over Liverpool at Anfield.

John Terry has praised Chelsea for putting in "big performances" in their recent matches following their win over Liverpool in the Premier League this afternoon.

The league leaders came from a goal down at Anfield to win 2-1, leaving them seven points clear at the top of the table.

The captain told BT Sport: "They probably had the better of the first half but the second half we were in control and never looked like losing, which is the difficulty at Anfield.

"We have seen everyone is beating everyone. We have had a good run, we go into the international break in confidence and hopefully can continue our good form.

"The whole team is putting big performances week and week out but Diego Costa has been at the heart of that."

Diego Costa and Gary Cahill scored the goals for Jose Mourinho's side this afternoon.
