Yaya Toure: 'We must beat Chelsea'

Yaya Toure says that it is "really important" that Manchester City beat Chelsea in the Premier League this afternoon after conceding an early lead to their title rivals.

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has said that his side "need to win" against Chelsea this afternoon.

Chelsea have been imperious so far this season, winning all four league games as they have shot to the top of the table.

Meanwhile, Man City have already lost at home and as a result are playing catch up with their title rivals, which Toure admits makes it all the more vital that the Citizens gain all three points today.

"We want to close the gap on Chelsea and need to win on Sunday," Toure told BBC Sport.

"It is going to be really important to prove that as a team and as a club that we are growing every day."
