Bayern Munich have reportedly given up hope of signing Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi before today's transfer deadline.
Hudson-Odoi is understood to have been keen on a move to the German champions, having seen former Manchester City youngster Jadon Sancho burst onto the scene at Borussia Dortmund this season.
The 18-year-old has grown frustrated with a lack of first-team football at Stamford Bridge as he remains behind the likes of Eden Hazard, Willian and Pedro in the pecking order.
The youngster was left out of the squad for Wednesday's 4-0 drubbing at the hands of Bournemouth, but Bayern boss Niko Kovac has essentially ruled out the possibility of pushing through a deal this month.
Speaking to reporters in a pre-match press conference, Kovac suggested that there would be no more business done by the club this month.
The German transfer window closes at 5pm GMT, so any deal would have to go through before then rather than before the 11pm English deadline.
