Chelsea are trying to conclude an £8m summer deal for Genk's Kevin De Bruyne.
The 20-year-old midfielder was close to a move to Stamford Bridge last summer.
The Belgian youngster has recently complained that his club are pricing him out of a dream move. However, it now appears that his wish has been granted with Chelsea renewing their interest.
It is believed that Chelsea were impressed with the player after facing him in the Champions League group stages. De Bruyne is confident about getting his move, with his club resigned to losing him at the end of the season.
Chelsea are expected to let the player leave on a season-long loan, much like they have done with goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois, before bringing him back to fight for a place in the first team.
De Bruyne joined Genk in 2005.
