Report: Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen heading to Borussia Monchengladbach on loan

Chelsea will send defender Andreas Christensen on loan to Borussia Monchengladbach after tying him down to a long-term deal at Stamford Bridge, according to reports.

Chelsea have agreed a deal with Borussia Monchengladbach that will see Andreas Christensen sent on loan to Borussia-Park, according to reports.

The 19-year-old Denmark Under-21s defender, who has been playing at Euro 2015, is said to be stalling on a new deal at Stamford Bridge as he wants first-team football.

According to The Metro, Jose Mourinho is keen to tie the centre-back down to a long-term contract before sending him out on loan to the Bundesliga club.

Christensen, who has made just two Chelsea appearances, has just over a year left on his current contract.
