Chelsea are reportedly preparing to enter into contract discussions with Antonio Rudiger.
The 28-year-old was strongly linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge last summer, having struggled for regular action under former boss Frank Lampard.
The Germany international has been a key player for the club since Thomas Tuchel's arrival, though, and according to Football Insider, the Blues are lining up contract talks with the centre-back.
The report claims that the German is set to be offered a new long-term deal by the London giants, who are currently battling to secure a top-four spot in the Premier League.
Rudiger's current contract is due to expire in June 2022, and Tottenham Hotspur are said to be keeping a close eye on developments in the event that the defender does not come to an agreement with Chelsea.
The former Borussia Dortmund youngster has made 134 appearances for the Blues.
