Juan Cuadrado has spoken of his affection for Fiorentina ahead of his transfer to Chelsea.
Fiorentina head coach Vincenzo Montella yesterday confirmed that the Colombian international, who arrived in Florence back in 2012, was on the verge of joining the West Londoners.
While there has still been no official confirmation from the Blues, 26-year-old Cuadrado has taken to Instagram today to pay tribute to the Serie A club that he is departing.
The message translates as: "Florence will always be in my heart. The people are extraordinary. The fans full of passion. The Viola launched my career and gave me the opportunity to grow also thanks to a great club and exceptional teammates.
"Now a new journey awaits me. New emotions. New objective. But always with Florence in my heart. Thank you to everyone! Juan."
Cuadrado is believed to be costing the Premier League leaders £26.8m.
