Inter Milan 'want either Marcos Alonso or Emerson Palmieri'

Inter Milan are reportedly keen to sign either Marcos Alonso or Emerson Palmieri from Chelsea in January.

Inter Milan are reportedly keen to sign either Marcos Alonso or Emerson Palmieri from Chelsea when the January transfer window opens for business.

Chelsea are allegedly open to selling one of the two players at the start of 2020, with Frank Lampard's side in the market for a new left-back.

According to The Sun, both Alonso and Emerson are wanted by Antonio Conte's side, who are expected to approach the Blues to determine which player is the likelier to be available.

The London club are believed to value Alonso in the region of £30m and would rather sanction a permanent sale next month than allow the Spaniard to leave on loan.

Emerson, though, is said to be happy in London and not actively looking for a departure, having been regularly involved during the current season.

Lampard's side allegedly view Ben Chilwell as their number one target at left-back, although Leicester City have reportedly made it clear that they will not be selling the England international in January.
