Juventus rule out move for Oscar

Juventus director general Giuseppe Marotta says that the club will never sign Chelsea midfielder Oscar.

Juventus director general Giuseppe Marotta has said that the club have no interest in signing Chelsea midfielder Oscar.

The Brazilian has been strongly linked with a move to the Bianconeri in recent months, as the Italian champions look to replace midfield duo Andrea Pirlo and Arturo Vidal.

However, Marotta has ruled out a move for Oscar and Real Madrid's Isco, as he believes that the two players would not help to improve the club.

"A trequartista? We are looking for a midfielder numerically, not with any specific qualities, but in the context of a very eclectic midfield which includes [Paul] Pogba, [Claudio] Marchisio, [Sami] Khedira and [Roberto Pereyra]," he told Quotidiano Sportivo.

"[Paulo] Dybala could play as a trequartista. Isco and Oscar are two players who aren't extraordinary, but they would add to Juventus. Unfortunately they aren't ours and we will never sign them."

Oscar joined Chelsea in July 2012 from Internacional and has gone on to make over 150 appearances for the Blues.
