Report: Atletico Madrid hope to sign defender Filipe Luis from Chelsea

Chelsea left-back Filipe Luis may return to Atletico Madrid this summer, according to reports.

Chelsea defender Filipe Luis could reportedly head back to Atletico Madrid this summer, after a frustrating start to his time in England.

The Brazilian signed for Jose Mourinho's team last year, but he has failed to establish himself at Stamford Bridge and has played second fiddle to Cesar Azpilicueta in the left-back position.

The Telegraph claims that Atletico are keen on re-signing Luis at the end of the season, and the deal could happen if the player tells Chelsea that he wants to leave.

Luis has made 22 appearances for the West London side so far this season.
