Real Madrid to make approach for Eden Hazard?

Chelsea midfielder Eden Hazard is a summer transfer target for Real Madrid, a report suggests.

Real Madrid are reportedly lining up a bid to bring Chelsea's Eden Hazard to the club this summer.

The 23-year-old has been in fine form for the Blues this season, but Madrid will tempt Jose Mourinho with a cash-plus-player offer, according to Football Direct News.

Hazard criticised Chelsea's defensive tactics following their 3-1 defeat against Atletico Madrid on Wednesday night, leading to questions about his future at Stamford Bridge.

The report suggests that Los Blancos will offer the Premier League side a chance to sign young defender Raphael Varane as part of any deal, plus an undisclosed sum of money.

Chelsea are currently second in the league table, while Real are sitting in third place in La Liga.
