Alvaro Morata has passed his medical with Atletico Madrid ahead of a move from Chelsea.

Morata has managed 24 goals in 72 appearances for Chelsea since arriving from Real Madrid in 2017.

The 26-year-old has largely struggled to settle at Stamford Bridge, though, and the Blues have recently signed Gonzalo Higuain on loan from Juventus to lead their line for the rest of the season.

Morata will reportedly join Atletico on an 18-month loan, although there will be an option to make the deal a permanent one at the end of this season.

'All good, thanks to God," Marca quotes Morata as saying after completing his medical.

Morata scored 31 times in 95 appearances during his time with Real Madrid.
