Ian Holloway was reportedly embroiled in a verbal altercation with Jose Campana during his final half-time team talk as Crystal Palace manager on Monday evening.
Fifty-year-old Holloway, who stepped down on Wednesday, is said to have been disappointed by the Spaniard's performance during the first 45 minutes of the 4-1 loss to Fulham at Selhurst Park.
The boss informed the 20-year-old of his disapproval, only for the midfielder to take exception to that and he decided to argue back, which resulted in a confrontation between the pair, according to the Daily Mail.
Campana was then substituted during the break and replaced by winger Jerome Thomas.
