Tony Pulis pleased with Palace debutants

Tony Pulis admis that he is pleased about how three of his new signings kicked off their Crystal Palace career in the 3-1 win over West Bromwich Albion.

Tony Pulis has admitted that he is pleased about how three of his new signings kicked off their Crystal Palace career in the 3-1 win over West Bromwich Albion at Selhurst Park.

Pulis handed debuts to January recruits Scott Dann, Joe Ledley and Thomas Ince for the visit of the Baggies, with the latter two firing the Eagles into a 2-0 half-time lead.

Thievy Bifouma reduced the arrears for Albion early in the second half, before Marouane Chamakh's penalty sealed the points for the Londoners.

"I was pleased with the three debuts," he told reporters. "It's been so difficult this week because the lads have done so well since I've been here and to leave three of them out was difficult."

Palace moved up to 13th in the Premier League table as a result ahead of Wednesday's trip to Everton.
