Crystal Palace goalkeeper Julian Speroni has said that the club can take positives from their games over the Christmas period as they seek to remain in the Premier League.
Tony Pulis's side have picked up four points from four matches following their 1-1 draw against Norwich City on New Year's Day.
Despite occupying 18th place in the table, Speroni believes that Palace are heading in the right direction.
"I think it was a very, very positive time for us," he told Sky Sports News. "We managed to get some good points and build a team that is solid and get some good performances in and there is a lot to take from that.
"The lads are starting to get to know Tony Pulis better and I'm sure there is more to come. The manager and chairman will sit down and see what they can do in the window but we don't know."
Palace travel to West Bromwich Albion in the third round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
