Fabio Capello wants to give England's younger players a chance to impress in Saturday's friendly against Spain.

England manager Fabio Capello is ready to give the younger players in his squad a chance to impress in the upcoming friendlies.

England continue their preparations for next summer's Euro 2012 with a friendly against Spain on Saturday and a match again Sweden on Tuesday.

Capello is keen to see how the likes of Jack Rodwell, Danny Wellbeck and Daniel Sturridge cope with the extra pressure of playing for their country.

"Against Spain, I want to see the level of our young English players to see who has the potential to make the squad for the Euros," said Capello.

"Wembley brings its own extra pressure because of the fans. But I need to see the answers and how players react on the pitch.

"England go into the match with many setbacks. It will be very difficult but our mission is to offer the best image of the team."

The matches offer a chance for the younger players to stake their claims for a place in Capello's Euro 2012 squad.
