Roberto Martinez has confirmed that John Stones and Seamus Coleman will both need fitness tests ahead of Everton's match against West Bromwich Albion.

The Toffees are unbeaten in their last three league outings ahead of their visit to The Hawthorns.

The manager also spoke about Ross Barkley's form at the start of the season.

So, join us again on Monday to see whether Everton can pick up their third win of the season. Until then, thanks for joining me this afternoon. Goodbye.

That's all from a fairly brief Martinez today. The manager will be sweating on the fitness of John Stones and Seamus Coleman over the weekend, but otherwise seems happy with his side ahead of the trip.

On Barkley's form, Martinez adds: "Last year he had an injury just before the season, then you're catching up constantly. This campaign he came back refreshed, had a good summer, and all the lessons made him a better player and that continuity has helped him to a fluent start to the campaign."

Turning his attention to this weekend's match, Martinez says: "West Brom have always been a hard team to break down. Their clean sheet against Southampton highlighted that. Our focus needs to be exactly the same as our last away league games, where we have kept three clean sheets."

Martinez is asked how important Ross Barkley has been to his side this season. He replies: "He's been in a very good moment and I've been impressed with how consistent he's been. Young players often lose their level. He's been consistent since the first game which is not normal for a young man to have that responsibility and that bravery."

Martinez confirms that John Stones has responded well to treatment, but that it's too soon to say whether or not he will feature on Monday, while Seamus Coleman will also be assessed ahead of the game.

With two wins from their opening six fixtures, Martinez insists that the club's performances have been better than their results: "The excitement is there with the group of players we have. Our level of performances have probably been better than the points return. I'd rather have the performances than the points at this stage, but in general terms we are very aware of the level of competition we have faced so far."

Martinez starts with the team's draw in the League Cup: "We're delighted with a home draw in the Capital Cup One. It's going to be a terrific tie."

Right then, the manager is ready to speak to the media. So let's see what's up for discussion this week.

While we continue to wait for Martinez, why not take a look at the fourth round of the League Cup draw. Everton will face Norwich City in the next round.

With Martinez due to speak in the next few minutes, there's just time to remind you that there will be live coverage of this match from an hour before kickoff on Monday. So make sure you're with us again then to see if Everton can secure a win.

Brendan Galloway has been making an impact in the first team this season at left-back, and defensive teammate Phil Jagielka told the club's website: "Brendan has done a great job at left-back. It's a fantastic opportunity for him as part of his development."

Despite picking up five points in their last three outings, Everton have struggled for a goals in their last few matches, having failed to score in three of their last four outings. Striker Romelu Lukaku hasn't scored in the league since August 15.

One area of concern for Everton heading into this match will be the injury that forced John Stones off during the win over Reading earlier this week. Martinez insisted after the match that it was not a serious complaint. Hopefully the manager will have more details today.

After an indifferent start to the season, Everton have been in strong form in the last couple of weeks, sharing draws with Spurs and Swansea, while beating reigning champions Chelsea, as well as progressing in the League Cup. With matches against Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal in their next three league outings, Martinez will be keen to get three more points on the board from this fixture.

Good morning. Everton manager Roberto Martinez will be speaking to the media shortly as he prepares his side for the trip to The Hawthorns on Monday, where his side will take on West Bromwich Albion.
