Tim Howard praises Everton spirit

Tim Howard believes that Everton's team spirit is among the strongest that he has ever experienced as he tips the Toffees for a strong season.

Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard has claimed that the feel-good vibe inside the Toffees squad can prove the foundation for a successful season.

Only Manchester City have beaten Roberto Martinez's side in all competitions, as the Merseysiders - who have won away at Southampton and home to Chelsea so far - sit sixth in the Premier League table, three points off the top four.

"We have such a good, deep squad and this is the best, front to back, we've had in terms of quality," Howard told the club's official website.

"That makes me happy as a goalkeeper because you know the business will get done in front of you.

"The boys have been playing fantastically well. I think the chemistry that we have at the back is second to none so we'll hopefully keep going."

Howard has kept three clean sheets already this season.
