Carlo Ancelotti: 'I won't return this season'

Carlo Ancelotti suggests that he has no intention of returning to the dugout before the end of this season, despite being linked with the Everton job.

Carlo Ancelotti has revealed that he will not start listening to new offers until the end of the season.

Earlier in October, Ancelotti was removed from his position at Bayern Munich, and the hugely successful Italian boss has been linked with numerous roles, including the managerial seat at Everton.

However, Ancelotti has insisted that he will take his time before taking on what he considers to be "a serious project".

The 58-year-old told Radio Anch'io lo Sport: "I have time to watch football now, I am looking for new opportunities but not from now.

"My contract with Bayern expires at the end of the season and that's when I'll start listening to new offers.

"I want a serious project that can give me time and serenity even though I know it's not easy. I am just waiting something will come."

Ancelotti won 42 of his 60 games in all competitions in his time in charge at Bayern.
