Everton manager David Moyes has hailed his side's performance after they beat Aston Villa 3-1 at Villa Park today.

Goals from Nikica Jelavic, Steven Pienaar and Marouane Fellaini secured the points for the Blues and Moyes admitted he was impressed with his side's display.

"The performance was excellent. It was up there with a lot of the really good performances I've had at Everton," Moyes told Sky Sports.

"I've got to give great credit to the players. They went out and showed today the confidence they've taken from the result last week (1-0 win over Manchester United)."

Everton currently sit third in the Premier League.
