Preview: Everton vs. Manchester United

Sports Mole previews the Premier League encounter between Everton and Manchester United.

Everton host Manchester United on Sunday afternoon knowing that they could need three points to keep in touch with Arsenal in the race for fourth place.

The Toffees lost ground on the Gunners on Wednesday night when they suffered defeat to Crystal Palace, and with Arsenal facing Hull earlier on Sunday, Roberto Martinez's side could sit four points behind the North London team when they kick off against United.

Martinez is likely to make changes to his starting lineup, with Steven Naismith and James McCarthy in contention to be recalled to the side.

Manchester United boss David Moyes will return to Goodison Park for the first time since his departure after enjoying an extended break from Premier League action.

The gap in the fixture list has reportedly seen striker Wayne Rooney recover from a toe injury in time to be considered for the fixture on Merseyside.

Juan Mata will also return after being cup-tied for United's Champions League game with Bayern Munich.
