Marco Silva plotting Everton clearout?

Marco Silva will reportedly sell four of his first-team players as the Everton boss begins a clearout of his squad.

Marco Silva will reportedly sell four of his first-team players as the Everton boss begins a clearout of his squad.

Ramiro Funes Mori was the first to leave Goodison Park this summer as the defender moved to Villarreal last week.

The Daily Star reports that Morgan Schneiderlin, Yannick Bolasie, Ashley Williams and Wayne Rooney could all depart Merseyside as Silva looks to cut his squad down before bringing in replacements.

Over the past few weeks, Rooney has been linked with a move to MLS side DC United, with the former Manchester United midfielder reportedly expected to make his debut on July 14.

Schneiderlin and Williams both joined from Swansea City, while Yannick Bolasie moved from Crystal Palace two years ago.
