Exeter City have defeated relegation candidates Accrington Stanley 2-0 at home in League Two to increase their chances of promotion.

Jimmy Keohane scored both goals for the hosts, who increased their tally to 52 points in the table with the win.

The first came on 79 minutes when he latched onto Tommy Doherty's pass to fire home from the edge of the area.

Three minutes later Keohane turned in Jamie Cureton's pass from inside the Accrington area to assure the points for his team.
