John Arne Riise retires from international football with Norway having made a record 110 appearances.

Fulham full-back John Arne Riise has called time on his international career with Norway with immediate effect.

The 32-year-old has taken the decision to "fully focus" on his club football in the Premier League.

He has retired having represented the Scandinavian country on 110 occasions - which is a record for Norway.

Former Liverpool defender Riise joined the Whites in the summer of the 2011 from Italian side Roma.
