Granada sporting director Juan Carlos Cordero has revealed that the Spanish outfit have agreed to loan out centre-back Pape Diakhate to Turkish side Kayseri Erciyesspor for the remainder of the season.
The 29-year-old, who reportedly asked to depart the Spanish side in the January transfer window, moved to Granada from Dynamo Kiev in 2011.
"Right now we have a verbal agreement with Erciyesspor in Turkey, we're sorting out the contracts and documents to ensure that the player can be registered with them in Turkey, this afternoon," Cordero said in a statement.
"He will go there on loan until the end of the season, without an option to buy clause. The agreement is satisfactory for all concerned. The player had already decided he wanted to leave, but no formal offers arrived.
"On Saturday, we received the call from Erciyesspor, telling us they were interested in him. We've had a weekend of negotiations and all we need now is the final signature today."
Diakhate has 35 caps for Senegal.
