Chris Powell: 'We deserved a point against Sheffield Wednesday'

Huddersfield Town boss Chris Powell feels that his side got their just rewards when Ishmael Miller struck late on to earn them a point against Sheffield Wednesday.

Huddersfield Town boss Chris Powell believes that his side got a deserved point in their clash against Sheffield Wednesday as Ishmael Miller netted a late equaliser at Hillsborough.

Both sides struggled for quality in the final third until Sergiu Bus found the net for the Owls in the 85th minute, but Miller cancelled his effort out to ensure that the Terriers earned a share of the spoils.

Powell told Sky Sports News: "I think it was looking like a bit of a stalemate. There were a few chances end to end and it looked like it would end 0-0.

"We needed a quick response after they scored and that's what we got. I felt the result was a fair reflection on the balance of play.

"I thought Ishmael Miller worried them when he came on and you want that from your subs. He did what I wanted him to do. He makes things happen and the players and fans like him."

Huddersfield are 18th in the Championship table, nine points clear of the relegation zone.
