Half-Time Report: Goalless between Hull City, Burnley

It remains goalless at the break between Hull City and Burnley in their Premier League clash at the KC Stadium.

The visitors were quickest out of the starting blocks as they probed forward in the opening stages and had a great chance from a free kick 10 minutes in following Kieran Trippier's trip on Stephen Quinn.

Robbie Brady's set piece, however, went on to hit the wall, before Tom Huddlestone fired wide from the subsequent rebound.

Hull continued to turn the screw and came close again in the 20th minute when Brady skipped across the left byline and into the Burnley area, but Clarets skipper Jason Shackell hacked his effort away from inside the six-yard box.

The Clarets soon had a chance of their own when Ashley Barnes nodded over on the half-hour mark, but the Tigers countered with a Brady free kick that smashed against the bar.

Burnley appeared to struggle in the latter stages of the first half, but were able to hold on to go in level at the break.
