Brett Pitman completes Ipswich Town move

Brett Pitman leaves Bournemouth to join Championship outfit Ipswich Town on three-year-deal for an undisclosed fee.

Ipswich Town have completed the signing of Brett Pitman from Bournemouth for an undisclosed fee.

The 27-year-old has signed a three-year contract with the Tractor Boys, to end his second spell at the Cherries.

He had begun his career at Bournemouth and spent five years at the club, before leaving for Bristol City in 2010.

However, he returned to Dean Court in December 2012 and scored 13 goals in the Championship last season to help Bournemouth win promotion to the Premier League for the first time in their history.

Earlier today it was announced that Tyrone Mings had joined the Cherries from Ipswich.
