Lazio president Claudio Lotito has insisted that the club has not considered sacking coach Cladimir Petkovic despite the slow start to the season.
Lotito said that Petkovic has the board's backing to improve results as he has had to deal with a number of injuries so far.
"We certainly had a few problems due to injuries, so we need to rediscover the confidence in our abilities and the mentality of a united group," Lotito told Mediaset.
"The club never considered replacing the coach."
Lazio are currently seventh in Serie A with 14 points from nine games.
