Lazio president Claudio Lotito has urged the club's supporters to back the team after displaying their disappointment over the transfer market.
Reports in Rome suggest that a protest will take place during the Serie A game against Chievo this weekend, with fans angry over the failure to sign Burak Yilmaz.
"If the fans have a stomach ache, I suggest they have an Alka-Seltzer," Lotito said according to Il Corriere dello Sport.
"The first one to be unhappy is me as the fans are not turning up to the stadium in numbers. The fans have to go to the stadium and support the team," he added.
The capital club will be looking to bounce back from their defeat to Juventus prior to the international break.
