Tuesday's FA Cup predictions including Southampton vs. Watford

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's FA Cup fixtures, including Southampton vs. Watford.

For the right to pit their wits against Liverpool in the fifth round, Southampton and Watford will do battle at St Mary's Stadium in an FA Cup fourth-round replay on Tuesday night.

The Saints' remarkable unbeaten run continued at Rotherham United on the weekend, whilst the Hornets suffered a shock defeat against Cardiff City in Hertfordshire.

We say: Southampton 3-1 Watford

Southampton have home advantage in this winner-takes-all clash and they should be confident of extending their unbeaten run to 24 matches on Tuesday night.

Watford have a number of attacking players who could cause damage on the South Coast, however we believe that the Hornets' FA Cup journey ends here.

Coventry vs. Sheff Weds (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

One of three all-Championship FA Cup fourth-round replays scheduled for midweek, Coventry City and Sheffield Wednesday renew hostilities at the Coventry Building Society Arena on Tuesday night.

The Owls left it late to hold their upcoming hosts to a 1-1 draw at Hillsborough last time out, and whoever prevails in the rematch will have the honour of hosting sixth-tier Maidstone United in round five.

We say: Coventry City 2-0 Sheffield Wednesday

There was certainly an air of fortune about Gassama's equaliser for Sheffield Wednesday in the initial encounter, and from the visitors' last 13 away games in all competitions, they have only managed a paltry four goals.

Coventry should therefore experience few problems shutting their lowly foes out on Tuesday, and with the Sky Blues also possessing a killer touch on home turf, a date with giant killers Maidstone will surely be theirs.

Plymouth vs. Leeds (Tuesday, 7.45pm)

By fighting back to earn a 1-1 draw in their original FA Cup fourth-round tie, Plymouth Argyle forced a replay with fellow Championship side Leeds United, to be played at Home Park on Tuesday.

A trip to Premier League territory awaits the victor of the midweek battle, as either Chelsea or Aston Villa will be lying in wait for a fifth-round showdown.

We say: Plymouth Argyle 2-2 Leeds United (a.e.t, Plymouth to win on penalties)

A Plymouth side with a taste for goals at home coming up against the dogged defensive unit of Leeds will make for a fascinating watch, and with the Home Park crowd willing them on, Argyle's attacking ruthlessness should come to the fore.

An in-form Whites side can be expected to fight fire with fire, but should penalties be required to decide the two sides' destiny, we have faith in Foster's men to book a fifth-round date with Premier League opposition.
