Half-Time Report: Goalless between Leicester City, Hull City

Neither side can force a breakthrough the first 45 minutes of the Premier League clash between Leicester City and Hull City at the King Power Stadium.

It is goalless after 45 minutes of the Premier League clash between Leicester City and Hull City at the King Power Stadium.

The Tigers had the first opening of the game when Ahmed Elmohamady raided down the right flank and hit Nikica Jelavic in the middle, but the striker tried an ambitious overhead kick which missed the target.

Jelavic should have fired the visitors ahead in the 20th minute when Elmohamady found further success down the wing. His cross left the Croat with a simple finish, but he got his feet tangled with the goal gaping and spurned the chance.

Hull did get the ball in the back of the net when Jelavic bundled home from close range, but the referee disallowed the effort after Dame N'Doye clattered into Mark Schwarzer to win the ball for the visitors.

Leicester should have put themselves ahead when Riyad Mahrez raided down flank and dug out a cross to the back post for the run of Andrej Kramaric, but the forward failed to connect with a header at the back post.
