Leicester City and Peterborough United are both still looking for their first goals of the season after a goalless first half.
The hosts enjoyed the best of a bad bunch of chances in the first half when Ben Marshall's free kick found the head of Ritchie De Laet, but the defender headed over on his league debut for the club.
The best chance of the half came with less than 10 minutes left, and it nearly resulted in an own goal.
Shaun Brisley lost the ball to Jamie Vardy inside his own half, and the Leicester new boy broke into the box before squaring it to Jermaine Beckford. Gabriel Zakuani got there first, but was only prevented from scoring an own goal by a fine reaction save from Robert Olejnik.
Beckford did get a chance a couple of minutes later when he was found by Marshall, but his header flew just past the post as the teams went into the break all square.
