Leicester City boss Nigel Pearson aware of Burnley threat

Nigel Pearson believes that his Leicester City side will face a tough test against Burnley on Saturday.

Leicester City manager Nigel Pearson has admitted that his side will have to work hard to beat Championship leaders Burnley when the teams meet on Saturday.

The Foxes will overtake Sean Dyche's side at the top of the table if they emerge victorious from the match at the King Power Stadium.

Pearson believes that Burnley's work ethic has played a key role in their strong start to the season.

"We are playing against a side at the weekend who have an exceptionally hard work rate," the Lancashire Telegraph quotes Pearson as saying.

"They have some really good players as well plus a manager who is driven and wants success. I think that reflects in what they have done so far. We have to be aware of that.

"I would also imagine that Sean is aware we have players who are very capable and for the most part they have worked exceptionally hard."

Leicester lost 3-1 to Brighton & Hove Albion in their last outing.
