Robbie Savage: 'Leicester City can stay in the Premier League'

Former Leicester City midfielder Robbie Savage believes that the Foxes will avoid relegation from the Premier League this season following two wins in two games.

Former Leicester City midfielder Robbie Savage has claimed that the Foxes will avoid relegation from the Premier League this season.

Nigel Pearson's charges were considered certainties for the drop just a few weeks ago, but two wins in their last two league games have put them just three points from safety with a game in hand over the teams just above them.

Savage told BBC Sport: "If Leicester go down, people will feel sorry for them. They haven't spent loads of money and they have had a right go in every single game.

"Even if they go down, I think Nigel Pearson should keep his job. But they have momentum now. I think they can stay up."

Leicester welcome Swansea City to the King Power Stadium next Saturday.
