Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp opts to make five changes for the second leg of the club's Champions League last-16 tie with Porto.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has decided to make five changes for the second leg of the club's Champions League last-16 tie with Porto.

The Premier League side established a 5-0 lead from the first leg in Portugal, but Klopp has opted against resting all of his star men for Tuesday's fixture on Merseyside.

However, Virgil van Dijk and Mohamed Salah are among five players to drop out of the team which began Saturday's 2-0 victory over Newcastle United.

Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino both retain their places in the side, while Adam Lallana is given his first start in the Champions League this season.

Alberto Moreno comes in for Andrew Robertson at left-back, but Danny Ings must make do with a place among the replacements.

As for Porto, manager Sergio Conceicao has decided to make as many as eight changes to his starting lineup.

However, Iker Casillas is given a start between the sticks, while striker Vincent Aboubakar will be looking to add to his 20 goals for the season.

Liverpool: Karius; Gomez, Matip, Lovren, Moreno; Milner, Henderson, Can; Lallana, Mane, Firmino
Subs: Mignolet; Van Dijk, Salah, Klavan, Oxlade-Chamberlain, Ings, Alexander-Arnold

Porto: Casillas; M.Pereira, Felipe, Reyes, Dalot, Oliver, Andre, B.Costa, Corona, Waris, Aboubakar
Subs: Brahimi, Malheiro, Paciencia, B.Pereira, Monteiro, Relvas, Mata
