Christian Benteke included in Liverpool squad for Villarreal clash

Christian Benteke is named in Liverpool's travelling squad for tomorrow's Europa League semi-final first leg against Villarreal in Spain.

Christian Benteke could make his return from a knee injury in tomorrow's Europa League semi-final first leg against Villarreal in Spain as he has been included in Liverpool's travelling squad.

The striker has been out of action for the past month because of knee ligament damage, but trained with the rest of his teammates this week.

According to the Liverpool Echo, manager Jurgen Klopp has added Benteke to his 20-man squad, and the Belgian could feature due to the absence of injured Divock Origi.

Benteke, who joined Liverpool from Aston Villa for a reported £32m fee last summer, has scored eight goals in all competitions this season.
