Liverpool forward Luis Suarez admits that he would replicate his World Cup handball today if necessary.

Luis Suarez has admitted that he would replicate his World Cup handball for Liverpool at Wembley today if necessary.

The Uruguay forward became a worldwide villain in 2010 when he denied a certain goal by deliberately punching the ball off his team's goal line in the final minute of the World Cup quarter-final with Ghana.

Asamoah Gyan missed the resultant penalty and Uruguay then prevailed in a shootout.

Despite receiving broad condemnation for his actions, Suarez would be willing to do the same against Everton if it were to help his team reach the FA Cup final.

He told The Sun: "The sacrifice I made was because it was so important for Uruguay to make the semi-finals.

"Now I want to win this semi-final. It will take an enormous effort but I am dedicated to the team.

"If I am obliged to stop a ball in the last minute and we win, then I will repeat the action. Success for Liverpool is more important to me than anything else."

Suarez has scored 13 goals for the Reds this season.
