Fraser Forster, Dusan Tadic passed fit for Liverpool clash

Fraser Forster and Dusan Tadic are passed fit for Southampton ahead of their Premier League clash with league leaders Liverpool at St Mary's.

Southampton duo Fraser Forster and Dusan Tadic have been passed fit for Saturday's Premier League clash with Liverpool at St Mary's.

The pair both picked up injuries while on international duty with England and Serbia respectively, but have been included in the squad for this weekend's game by manager Claude Puel.

Tadic may be forced to wear a protective mask to cover his nose, but it is understood that he will be available to start against the league leaders.

However, the Saints could be without Ryan Bertrand, Cedric Soares, James Ward-Prowse and Shane Long, all of whom are to undergo late fitness tests.

Alex McCarthy and Matt Targett will also miss out for the hosts, but Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg has recovered from a knock.
