Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp reveals that Georginio Wijnaldum, James Milner and Ben Woodburn are all doubtful for Saturday's Premier League fixture with Newcastle United.

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has suggested that Georginio Wijnaldum, James Milner and Ben Woodburn could all be absent from his squad for the Premier League fixture with Newcastle United.

The Merseyside giants face two matches in the space of three days, with Porto the visitors to Anfield after the domestic meeting with the Magpies on Saturday afternoon.

Klopp has revealed that he has the majority of his players available for this weekend's match, but three of his midfielders are likely to miss out.

At a press conference, the 50-year-old told reporters: "Woodburn and Wijnaldum have been ill for a week or so. It's more than a cold. We have no big injuries, it's true, and hopefully it stays like this.

"Milner got a knock in the last game and that hurts a bit, it's not an injury."

All three players could come back into the reckoning on Tuesday, with Klopp likely to rotate his side due to a 5-0 advantage being established in the first leg in Portugal.
