Reports tip holders Liverpool to make a number of changes for their League Cup tie against West Bromwich Albion. Here, Sports Mole previews the meeting at the Hawthorns.

Reports have claimed that Brendan Rodgers is due to make wholesale changes to his Liverpool starting lineup for tomorrow's League Cup trip to fellow Premier League side West Bromwich Albion.

Martin Kelly, Fabio Borini and Daniel Agger have all been ruled out of the tie with injuries that they sustained during Sunday's 2-1 loss to rivals Manchester United.

The likes of Steven Gerrard, Luis Suarez and Joe Allen are also likely to be rested for the holders.

As a result, Jamie Carragher, Jordan Henderson and Stewart Downing have been tipped to come into the side.

Hosting West Brom have an injury doubt over James Morrison, who is struggling with a hamstring problem.

The Baggies ran out 3-0 winners when the two teams met at the Hawthorns on the opening day of the Premier League season.
