Emre Can tips Roberto Firmino to provide missing X-factor

Roberto Firmino can become the match winner that Liverpool crave, claims midfielder Emre Can.

Liverpool midfielder Emre Can has revealed that he has been impressed with new signing Roberto Firmino.

The Brazilian was bought for £29m from Hoffenheim earlier in the window and made his first appearance against Swindon Town last weekend.

Can told the club's official website: "He is a very, very good player – he scores a lot of great goals, and that's what we need.

"He plays like a lot of Brazilians – he's a fighter, and technically very strong and capable, and that can only help win matches for us."

Firmino could make his Liverpool debut against Stoke City on Sunday.
