Emre Can: 'New Liverpool signings settling in well'

Liverpool midfielder Emre Can admits that his side have been boosted ahead of the new campaign by the array of new players brought to the club during the off-season.

Emre Can has revealed that he is confident that Liverpool's summer signings will significantly strengthen the squad this coming season.

Reds boss Brendan Rodgers has splashed the cash to bring in a raft of new faces following a disappointing campaign last time out.

In all, seven new players have made the move to Anfield, including the likes of Christian Benteke, Danny Ings, Roberto Firmino and James Milner.

Speaking to Liverpool's official website, Can revealed that the latest additions are adapting well to their new surroundings, as the start of the new season draws ever nearer.

"It has all gone very well - they all seem to have settled in quickly, and I think all of the new guys are feeling good," he said.

"Liverpool Football Club only ever buys players in order to strengthen the squad and team, and it would make no sense not to have done so during this summer window as well."

Can joined Liverpool from Bayer Leverkusen last summer for a fee in the region of £10m.
