Liverpool Jordon Ibe: 'Jurgen Klopp makes us think we can win Premier League'

Liverpool winger Jordon Ibe claims that Jurgen Klopp has instilled belief in the squad that they can win the Premier League title.

Liverpool winger Jordon Ibe has claimed that Jurgen Klopp has got the squad believing that they can win the Premier League title this season.

Klopp has overseen three wins and two draws from his first six games in the league, and the Reds are currently six points below league leaders Manchester City.

Ibe said that Klopp's enthusiasm and willingness to afford his players ample freedom has got the whole squad thinking that they can end their 26-year wait for a league title this term.

"He has given us the belief that we can win the Premier League and even other cups," Ibe told Sky Sports News.

"He gives us a lot of confidence, he just lets us get on with it and he will tell us how it is because he can get very angry if he wants, but so far he has been calm.

"He has basically just given us the freedom to go and play the football we should be playing. His relationship with each and every one of the players has given us the belief."

Klopp's Reds will meet Stoke City in the last four of the League Cup following Wednesday night's 6-1 hammering of Southampton.
