Liverpool captain Steven Gerrard is playing through the pain barrier to help his side win the Premier League title, according to a report.

The 33-year-old is reportedly struggling with a heel injury in his left foot, which is causing him significant pain, but he is determined to stay on the field.

Gerrard has used different boots and supports inside to ease the ailment as he seeks to solve the problem before the end of the season ahead of England's World Cup campaign, reports The People.

The midfielder is expected to be part of the Liverpool team to face Norwich City later today.
