Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has hailed the attitude of midfielder Jordan Henderson.

Henderson has slipped down the rankings at Anfield in recent seasons, but Rodgers has admitted that he appreciates the England Under-21 international's reliability.

"Jordan has been excellent and his attitude has been great," the Liverpool Echo quotes Rodgers as saying. "The team has been winning as well.

"But Jordan has been excellent, he's a good player, he's improving tactically all the time and I know if I need to call on him he will be ready."

The Reds are currently in seventh place in the Premier League table with eight games remaining.
